PSET 2025 is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed conference proceeding that consolidates research activities in all experimental and theoretical aspects of engineering and applied physics. It aims to publish articles on novel and frontier physics that merit the attention and interest of the entire physics community. This includes review articles and full research articles highlighting important new scientific and technological findings in the latest research aspects of physics. A regular papershould be no less than 6 pages, including figures, tables, and equations. A maximum of 6 pages is permitted for the final submission of an approved paper, but each page in excess of 6 will incur an extra charge.
1. All full papers presented at PSET will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted for indexing in EI Engineering Index), Scopus, Inspec, etc. SPIE will submit the volume to EI, but we cannot guarantee that papers will be indexed. 2. The revised versions of selected conference papers presented at the PSET Conference are eligible for review and possible publication in SCI/SCIE journals.
Submission Guideline
Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before;
that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else;
that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out.
The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.
Important note: PSET uses software to screen for plagiarism.

Submitted manuscripts should meet the following criterias: Present important and novel physics. Make a significant contribution in a specific research area and generate interest for PSET readers. Represent an authoritative and substantive addition to the body of literature. Explore the subject matter comprehensively and thoroughly. Make a fundamental theoretical and/or experimental discovery. Create a new paradigm or make a paradigm shift. Establish a fruitful analogy or connection between different subfields or topical areas of physics, or between physics and other scientific disciplines. Push an established field into a new direction. Significantly advance the state of the art of a field.
PSET follows a double-blind review process, i.e., neither the referees nor the authors are provided with the names or details of each other. Manuscripts are reviewed by two independent referees who are experts in the related field. The manuscripts are sent for refereeing after a pre-review by the Editor within approximately one week after submission, provided they are in the required format. Manuscripts not in the required format will be returned to the authors or rejected.
Referees are requested to submit their reports within 1-2 weeks. If a chosen referee does not respond within a week, the manuscript is sent to another referee, and the process continues until responding referees are found to complete the refereeing process.
Upon receipt of the referees’ reports, authors may be requested to revise the manuscript based on the referees' suggestions. The completion of the refereeing process may take approximately 2-4 weeks, depending on the responses from the referees and authors. It is important for the corresponding authors to respond to the referees' comments in the ‘Author Comment File’ with a point-by-point reply and to upload the revised (or unrevised) version within the specified time. Failure to do so may result in the submission being rejected, with the presumption that the authors are no longer interested in continuing with the publication. Authors who are unable to revise or respond within the allocated time but are still interested in publication may resubmit the manuscript at a later date by quoting the previous reference number (this will be considered a fresh submission). Any differences of opinion with the referees may also be included in the ‘Author Comment File’.
The Editor conducts the final review, with or without the involvement of additional experts, and communicates the decision to the authors. The revised or re-revised manuscript may or may not undergo another review by the same or other referees. No manuscript will be published without undergoing peer review.
